So this is a powerhouse! It’s a little on the heavy side but I decided to go for the (older but definitly teething-problems-free) DX3.0 instead of the wildly acclaimed new DX3R (shown in the picture below).


I know (and everybody else does) that the new SPEKTRUM DX3R is just BEAUTIFUL but – as mentioned above – it’s brand new and has started being delivered just a few weeks ago. Maybe I will grade up to a DX3R someday but for now the stable DX3.0 is the surface radio of my joice – I can’t go wrong (shown in the picture below).


As for the cost: while the DX3.0 cost me a mere $ 139.– (including receiver) the new DX3R retails at $ 419.– (some shops do list it at $ 219.– without ANYTHING – the Rx is around $ 79.– extra).
